PEACE IN GOD'S PRESENCE

PRAY: Oh, God, I know that You are not a God of disorder but of peace. May I see Your peace in Your people all around me, and especially may it shine in and through me. I want to be a living example of Your order, and of peace in the world around me. May it start in my heart, in my home, and in my personal relationships.

REFLECT: Where do you see disorder in your life? Is it in relationships, in the tidiness of your car, your home, or your office? Look honestly at anything or any place where you have created disorder. Ask the Lord to clean it up, to bring peace, and to be present there. Ask Him to reveal to you anything that's out of place or disorderly in your life, and to replace it with His peace.

ACT: Pray for the Lord to bring His peace to the professionals in the film, TV, music, news and video game industries. So many of them need the Lord's peace and don't know how to find it. Would you be the one to pray for disorder to leave the lives of so many creative people who are shaping our culture? Choose one person on your heart, who works in Hollywood, and pray specifically for him or her this week, this month, for as long as the Lord leads you! You might be the first Christian to ever pray for that person!
