WE HAVE THE SAME SPIRIT OF FAITH

The word “same” in English means to refer to something that had existed before. The scripture in 2 Corinthians 4:13 indicates that we have the same spirit of faith as David who made this statement initially (Psalm 116:10). You have the same kind of faith that David had. It’s the same kind of faith that killed Goliath and can kill whatever represents a Goliath in your life today. You can succeed, but you must believe you can. If you don’t, it will not work. We have that same spirit of faith (the same quality and category); we are not trying to get it. There’s a difference between trying to get something that is not yours and trying to get something that is already yours. We already have it! We have the same spirit of faith! However, one major way to activate this faith is by hearing the word of God.

The only way for faith to come is by hearing. So, if you do not lend your ears to the word of God, it will be impossible for faith to come to you. If you want faith or want to strengthen your faith on any subject or issue, what you need to do is to hear the word of God on that subject. Faith is what changes our situation and circumstances; it obtains answers from God for us by connecting us to the power of God that brings changes to our circumstances.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to give the required diligence to hearing Your word for my faith to produce divine results. Amen!
