DAY 3 OF 5

Day 3: Plugging Into God's Community

Life was never designed to be lived alone. It's crucial to surround ourselves with a group of believers who can uplift and support us when we're feeling depleted. Plugging into God's community helps us build relationships that can carry us through life's challenges.

"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2 (NIV)

Need help finding or creating a community? Here are a few tips!

Check out a youth group at your church. Not just to attend but also a place where you can serve. Joining a youth group can give you access to a caring group of peers who share your beliefs and can help you on your spiritual path. Look for other ways to get involved in your church community, such as volunteering or joining a ministry.

Attend Christian conferences or retreats that give you a chance to interact with other Christians and deepen your understanding of your faith. These gatherings can be fantastic opportunities to make new friends and form enduring relationships.

Start a Bible study or prayer group with friends or peers can be a wonderful way to strengthen your faith and foster community. Decide on a regular meeting time and site, then invite people to attend.

This is an easy one! Are you on Instagram or TikTok? Social media can be a powerful tool for connecting with other believers, especially if you don't have a lot of Christian peers in your local community. Join Christian groups or follow Christian influencers to connect with like-minded individuals.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the community of believers you have placed in my life. Help me to connect with them, find support and encouragement. Use our relationships to strengthen my faith and renew my spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.
