7 Reasons to Love God's WordSample

Reason 3: Every Bit of God’s Word Is Useful
According to 2 Timothy 3:16-17, God’s Word was breathed out by Holy Spirit Himself. Every bit of it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.
When today’s key Bible passage says that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,” it means (in the original Greek) that all Scripture was literally breathed-out by God the Holy Spirit Himself.
In other words, when the original manuscripts were written for each of the 66 books of the Bible, the Holy Spirit literally breathed His words into the listening ear of the scribe, and Scripture was thus recorded for people through the ages to read.
Friend, if God's words were important enough for Him to breathe out and have written down, we ought to love what He had to say!
And not only can and should we love His Word, but we should put it to work in our lives. If we will study it faithfully, the Lord will teach us, correct us, and raise us up to walk in victory in Jesus all through His wonderful Word.
When you read the Word of God, you receive the very breath of God infused into your spirit. His breath and His words change and equip you. Hallelujah! That is reason enough to love the Scriptures!
