LIFE on HIS LIPS: SURVIVING by the WORDSample

It is fine to grow spiritually, but the fact of the matter is, you need practical solutions. This is where the value of proper godly counsel comes in. Society teaches us that everyone is capable of making their own decisions. While that is true, it does not negate the fact that counsel is also important. There are people who have passed through your situation, and they have overcome it with the grace and the strength of Christ. Nothing is impossible with Jesus, however, God uses people to teach us His ways. At times, our mistake is thinking that God will ONLY speak to us during the time of prayer or worship, but He can use anyone that He desires to use. The spirit of counsel and wisdom, are characteristics of the Holy Spirit, and we can not deny its power when it is working through a person who has been appointed to assist you. Therefore, seek godly counsel for instructions on the next practical steps that need to be taken to bring you out of your predicament.
