Chasing God’s GlorySample

The Glory in Worship
“Rise and shine and give God the glory, glory” are the words to a song my mama used to sing to me when I would wake up. This song talks about giving God glory. One of the ways we can give God glory is through worship. When we sing, raise our hands, or direct our attention to God, we glorify Him.
Worship is a way of saying thanks to God for what He has created and what He has done to rescue us by sending His Son, Jesus.
In the Christmas story, a group of angels called the “heavenly host” in Luke 2 sang and gave glory to God. They were announcing the birth of Jesus to the shepherds and giving glory to God.
Question: What are some of the ways you like to worship and give glory to God?
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for giving me a voice to sing and tell others about You and Your glory! I am grateful You sent Your Son Jesus as Your glory to be with us. Amen.
