Where There's Smoke There's FireSample

Proverbs 27:19 directs us to reflect on the state of our hearts, much like water reflects our image. In the same way, we can reflect on the characteristics of His consuming presence in our lives.
Consider what you've learned about His presence as a consuming force. How has it impacted you? How has it changed your perspective? Take time to ponder these insights as if looking into the waters of your own thoughts.
Looking forward, how can you invite His presence to consume you more in the week ahead? It's like stoking the fire, allowing it to burn brighter. Find ways to be intentional about drawing close to Him, opening yourself to His transformative influence.
Remember the importance of spending dedicated time with Him amid your busy days. Just as we need to hydrate daily, your spirit needs regular nourishment through spending time with God. Make it a deliberate practice, allowing His consuming presence to shape your thoughts, actions, and interactions.

About this Plan

The age-old adage of “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” rings true with God’s presence: if it’s visible, the signs are present. In this 28-day reading plan, we see how God’s presence is symbolized by fire and the “smoke” that should show in our lives because of it. Note: This plan is based on the sermon series from the good people at Youth Pastor Co.
