Worth SharingSample
I want you to think of your favorite song. As it comes to mind, I bet you can sing all of the lyrics, without having to Google the words.
Now, I want you to think of the theme song from your favorite show when you were a kid. Do you remember those lyrics, too?
Our brains are amazing! They are like a cloud of data that holds memories, our locker combinations, the facts we need to know for our geometry test, and apparently, song lyrics.
If we can recall lyrics from our most beloved childhood cartoon, then it is safe to say when something is actually important to us, that passion is deeply embedded in us, too.
When we think about sharing the Good News with others, oftentimes God weaves together our passions with ways we can share hope with others. For instance, if you love songwriting, maybe you could share some songs you've written about Jesus with your friends. If you enjoy writing poetry, maybe you can write about how God has transformed your life.
Our Scripture today reminds us that when Jesus came to earth, He came and lived among the people of His time. He went about His normal, daily activities, just like us. As He hung out in the community, ate dinner with His friends, went on walks, and went fishing, He shared the Good News.
In a similar way, as we pursue our interests and passions, God will give us opportunities to weave the Good News into our day-to-day lives.

About this Plan
For the next four weeks, we'll follow the story of Samuel to see how God called him to share his faith through his words and actions. We'll discover how God invites us to share the Good News, see why sharing the Good News should start with prayer, explore what to do when sharing the Good News sometimes requires risk, and see how sharing the Good News can happen every day.
