Worth SharingSample
Have you ever thought about what makes an influential person so memorable?
We read the stories of our favorite musicians and learn how they practiced their instruments for hours and hours on end. We hear how our favorite actors and actresses have invested years to develop their craft to make whatever part they play 100% believable. We've heard the stories of our favorite athletes and how they stayed in the gym and kept practicing, even when everyone else went home.
As we think of these people and their stories, it's safe to say that most often, success does not happen by chance. When we think of these superstars, it is their natural talent, combined with dedication, that made them who they are today.
Just as a star athlete or a musical artist works really hard to become excellent in their craft, we must be dedicated to growth if we are going to effectively share the Good News. Sharing our faith with our friends may seem uncomfortable at first, but just like an athlete had to pick up a volleyball and hit it for the first time, we need to be willing to try something new, as well.
This week, take a step to talk about Jesus. Maybe write out your own story of how Jesus has changed your life. Ask a family member or your pastor for some advice. If a friend tells you that they are struggling, ask if you can pray for them.
God doesn't expect us to be perfect. Instead, God empowers us to be dedicated to growing one day at a time.

About this Plan
For the next four weeks, we'll follow the story of Samuel to see how God called him to share his faith through his words and actions. We'll discover how God invites us to share the Good News, see why sharing the Good News should start with prayer, explore what to do when sharing the Good News sometimes requires risk, and see how sharing the Good News can happen every day.
