Our human body can do amazing things. It can run, jump, dance, think, feel, draw, play music, build things and more. It can do almost anything! When all the parts of a body work together, great things are accomplished.
We each have a part to play in the body of Christ. The body of Christ is the Church. As followers of Jesus, we are called His body as we work out God’s plan. The parts of the body all work together. The head, arms, legs, heart, lungs, mouth and nose and everything else all work together as one.
God has given each of us gifts and talents. There are things that each of us are good at, and God uses those things to work through us. The Bible explains in 1 Corinthians 12 that there are different kinds of gifts given to each of us. The gifts might be different but are all given by the same Spirit.
The body of Christ has many parts. When we all work together, God can do great things through us.
