Lead Like Jesus: 21 Days of LeadershipSample

Serving in Jesus’ Name
Serving in Jesus’ name frequently took the first disciples out of their comfort zone, and failures were part of the learning curve. Jesus knew that people often feel awkward in the face of change, so He made sure to give His disciples clear direction and frequent feedback. He offers us the same encouragement, direction and guidance today.
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.—2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for faithfully meeting me where I am and guiding me as I am becoming a servant leader. It isn’t always easy, or comfortable, but I know that this is the path You have for me. When change is hard and I feel self-conscious, encourage and strengthen me through Your Spirit. I want to keep moving forward. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
