Day 17: Sharing the Gospel

Scripture: Matthew 28:19-20

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age."

Sharing the gospel with others is a fundamental aspect of embracing God's best. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus gave His followers the Great Commission, saying, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Today, we commit to being a light in our community and sharing the love of Christ in the new year. This mission is a call for every believer to share the message of salvation, make disciples, and baptize new believers. It's an expression of God's love and grace to the world.

In our prayer today, we seek God's empowerment to fulfill this mission. We acknowledge that sharing the gospel is an essential part of embracing God's best. We ask for the strength and wisdom to be effective witnesses for Christ, making disciples and spreading His love to those around us.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we stand before You with hearts open to the mission of sharing the gospel. We recognize that this is an integral part of embracing Your best. Today, we commit to being a light in our community and sharing the love of Christ. Empower us, Lord, to be witnesses, to make disciples, and to baptize new believers. May Your love and grace shine through us in this new year. We trust in Your promise that You are with us always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
