What I love the most about team sports is that, whether you win or lose, you do it as a team. If you aren’t playing your best, that’s okay. You have teammates to help you with your weaknesses and vice-versa.
The same is true about the body of Christ. We are all on Team Jesus, which means in our pursuit of justice, we have help. We don’t have to do it alone. We have a group of people who can walk alongside us and help us in times of need. Just as you are looking for ways to stand up for others, some people will stand up for you.
Today, thank God for the body of Christ who loves and cares for one another!
