PRAYING FOR THE CHURCH

Let us join with God in praying for the church. Let's pray that the church will become all that God desires it to be! Let's pray that God's church would be marked by His love, presence, and power and that it would draw in the lost. That people would come to know Jesus and be transformed into His image. That we would show His love and grace to the hurting and broken. God, let us be Your hands, reaching out in love to those in need. Let our Church be a living expression of Christ, as the whole body works together, everyone doing their part built up in love. That God would build His church. That there would be unity in the church as we all submit to Christ as the Head. Pray that people's faith will grow strong and not fail. As we pray, let us lift up the persecuted church all around the world. Praying for God to grant them boldness to continue to stand in their faith. That God would fill them with His Spirit and confirm His word with signs and wonders.

• Pray for the church to be marked by the power and presence of God. (Mark 16:20; Acts 4:29-31)

• Pray for the church to be united around Christ and His word. (Psalm 133:1; Eph. 4:13; 1 Peter 3:8)
• Pray that the church's faith is strong and will not fail. (Luke 22:32; Matt. 24:12; 1 John 5:4)
