Day One

Reflection:

Compassion is the sympathetic awareness of others' suffering with a desire to alleviate it (Merriam-Webster). Our Lord God hears your cries and is moved with compassion to relieve your distress. Similarly, Jesus responded to the widow's distress as the funeral procession for her son passed by. Do you have a situation in your life that needs a touch from God to heal? Do you feel like something is lost and cannot be recovered?

Even now, the Lord will revive your hope with a fresh expectation of His promise in your heart. The enemy is defeated. Hold onto the loving promises of God, and have faith that He is working in your life to renew and restore you. Believe that God is telling you to get up and trust again.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I am grateful for Your kindness and mercy. I have faith that You are restoring my hope and renewing my spirit. I believe that with Your guidance, anything is possible, and any obstacle can be overcome. Thank You for Your love and grace. In the name of Jesus, amen.
