Christmas is a celebration of the best news the world has ever heard. The Gospel means good news. The good news for our world is that God sent us a Savior in the person of Jesus. He didn't arrive the way people thought he would, and he didn't save us the way others expected. Jesus arrived humbly, lived a perfect life, and died a criminal's death. But three days after his death, he rose from the grave and appeared to many of his followers. Jesus ultimately left them physically, but he gave all who believe in him his Spirit, which empowers us to follow his ways. Christmas celebrates the arrival of our Savior and Lord. It's the best news in the world and for the world!

Jesus, today I remember and celebrate the best news in the world and how you have changed my world. Thank you!
