Lay the Foundation

• Read 1 John 4:19 aloud. Read slowly and reverently. Listen for the word or phrase the Holy Spirit highlights for you.
• Journal what was brought to your attention. If you were given an image, describe or sketch it.
• Sit quietly with the Lord for a few minutes. Allow His truth and His presence to minister to you.
• Listen to the song and consider how it carries the message of 1 John 4:19.

• Underline and journal your selections and their supporting Scriptures.
• Respond to God’s invitation to stretch and grow in His love.
