The Lie Blocking Divine Healing: Believing God Can Heal Is Enough to Create Faith in Us

Imagine yourself in a large room with a hundred people listening to an extremely wealthy speaker declare: "I have the ability to give each of you €5000." Hearing him, you know this man has the financial capacity to do so, but it doesn't necessarily create in you a hope of receiving it for certain. Why didn't you feel this hope? Simply because knowing someone can do something isn't enough to evoke faith in you. You need to know they also desire to do it!

If the wealthy speaker had declared: "I have the capacity and the will to give each person here €5000," then it would have stirred hope in you, because, in addition to the means, the speaker had the desire.

Jesus not only has the capacity to meet your needs by delivering and healing you, He desires to! Jesus invites you to base your faith not just on His ability to heal you, but on His ability and willingness to heal you!

The man with leprosy knew of a Jesus who had the capacity to cleanse him. He declared: "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus instilled a more effective faith in him by revealing His will: "I am willing; be clean." Jesus corrected his belief by replacing "If you are willing" with "I am willing." The man had faith Jesus could heal him. Now, he had faith Jesus also wanted to heal him.

I invite you to change your belief. Replace "If you are willing, Lord" with "I know you can and you are willing, Lord."

I pray that this biblical truth produces a supernatural work in you, in the name of Jesus, amen.
