Daughter, Do You Know Who You Are?

DAY 30 OF 30

You Are Qualified

Some people may say that you are disqualified because of your education, looks, etc, but the world does not define who you are nor do they define if you are qualified to do something or not. Having an education is great, and having good looks is great, but in the end, God doesn’t go by that. He goes by who you are in Him, and your faithfulness to obey and listen to Him. Many people look at their outward appearance and determine if they are qualified to do something, and most of the time they find themselves making a big mistake. Man looks at outward appearance and achievements, but God looks at a person's heart (1 Samuel 16:7)

A perfect example of this was King David. He was completely overlooked by his father and his brothers, but God told Samuel to anoint David as King because of his love for God and his heart posture towards Him. He was faithful to tend to the sheep and do his work with excellence. Things that other people didn’t see, God saw. David’s other brothers were considered warriors, and the Bible says they were good-looking and strong, but God didn’t look at that.

Don’t think for a moment that because you don’t have something someone else has you are automatically disqualified. God has the ability to use your gifts and talents that He placed within you, to bring you to a place of favor that you can’t do on your own. God can give you wisdom, and ideas that go beyond what others are thinking. Keep being faithful. Continuously seek the Lord and His right way of doing things, and He will be sure to give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:33) God is the one who has the final say, and your qualification comes from God alone.

Prayer for today:

“Father, I thank You that You qualify me. Lord, change the posture of my heart today. If my heart has been away from you, or looking for the approval of man, help me to come back to You. Change my heart Lord. Give me a fresh revelation of Your Word today. God, I look to You for Your guidance. I declare and decree that I am qualified by Almighty God, and whatever it is I need, He will provide it. In Jesus’ name, amen”
