For so many of us, worship feels like something we do on a Sunday morning. We arrive for the service, find our seat in a chair or pew, and ready our minds and voices to sing praise to Jesus Christ. And yes, this is worship! But worship is not just limited to something that only happens inside church walls, or only in song. Instead, Scripture tells us that everything we do in life can bring praise and glory to God. Every single thing. With our busy lives and schedules, we may feel like we just don’t have the time to set aside to show any kind of worship.
But let’s shift the perspective a bit. Instead of seeing a busy schedule as something that keeps you from worship, we can see our many activities and responsibilities as opportunities. When we’re walking to pick up our kids from the bus stop, we can praise and thank God for such a beautiful day. When we’re standing in line at the bank, spend a minute or two in thanks to God for what has been given to us, and ask how you can use what was given to help others. Cooking a meal can be an opportunity to praise God for the delicious produce He created, or even to give thanks for the ability to feed the ones you love. Where are some opportunities in your day to praise the Lord?

About this Plan

When it comes to our relationship with God, habits can take on a huge role. They can work to help us stay consistently connected to Him, or become distractions that keep our minds focused on what we want and not on what God wants for our lives. We’ll take a look at how being consistent with our spiritual habits helps us maintain a close relationship with our Savior.
