What Color Is God’s Love?Sample

Day 2: The Heavens Tell More of God’s Story
“Blue makes me feel calm, like a great day to set sail, like a cool, peaceful breeze that says, ‘God will not fail.’”
Every night, as the sun sets, God paints the sky orange with red streaks, sometimes purple with pink brushstrokes before night falls. God also places the shining moon and twinkling stars on the blue or black canvas of the sky, calling each star by name. He watches over us with love while keeping the world spinning while we sleep.
Activity:
Draw your favorite sky scene, then paint or color it. It could be a blue sky with clouds, a sunrise or sunset, or a moonlit night with stars.
Then, share with a friend or family member why you like the unique way God decorated the sky during that time of day. How can looking at the sky at different times of the day help you remember that God is powerful enough to care for you and loving enough to care about you?
Pray:
Mighty and merciful God, thanks for making the world and keeping things running. Please help me grow to know, trust, and love You more each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
