Growth Through ChangeSample
Despite our knowing that change is a prerequisite to growth, it doesn’t make change any easier.
Remember what we discussed yesterday: Before Paul spoke the Word of God, he was blinded.
While this may be an extreme example of change being a painful process, we too often experience pain and discomfort when going through changes of our own.
This can come in the form of letting go of an unhealthy relationship, experiencing difficulty at a new job, or simple frustration through the challenges that we face within our lives.
Change can be hard to deal with, even if the change is something that we already knew was on the horizon! When we’re faced with the fears and uncertainties that are often tied to change, we must rely heavily on our faith in order to get us through the process.
God has the ability to do anything, but I believe that one of the greatest abilities that God possesses is the ability to see the entire picture. God had Plans for each of our lives long before we were born. The changes that seem to come out of nowhere? God knew that they would occur. He knew that we would experience them, and even better, He built us to do so. He knew that in order for us to reach the potential that He has for us, for us to follow the Plan that He meticulously wrote out for us, we would have to stretch ourselves.
When it feels like the weight of everything is too heavy to hold, lay it down in God’s Hands. When you feel that life is moving too fast for you to keep track of it, seek God’s Guidance. Ask Him for help, and you will never be turned away.
Perhaps you feel that this change is too much for you to carry.
But, perhaps you were born for a time such as this.
