1 & 2 Timothy Sample

What goes on inside our homes matters, Satan loves to attack our families because when he can break them apart, he can hurt our witness. To protect our families, we must put them in the proper order of importance. Serving our church must never cause us to neglect those in our homes. We are called to serve God, and those inside our homes should be our first ministry.

As Christians, one way we can support the elders in our churches is to pray for them and to express gratitude for their service. Church leadership is hard work. As Christians, we should do everything we can to support and honor those God has placed over us. 

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for the elders in our churches! Please place a shield of protection over them and their families. Help them to lead their homes and their churches with integrity, love, and wisdom. Place men in our churches whom You can use to build strong churches. Place women by their sides who will stand in the gap for them through prayer, encouragement, and wisdom. Amen.
