Day 3: You are loved even when you mess up!

No matter how hard we try, we won’t be perfect. God knew that, so He created a plan to make sure when we mess up, we can go to Him for help.

Have you ever gotten upset with yourself when you’ve messed up? Have you ever wanted to hide from those mistakes? I know I have.

However, our wonderful, Heavenly Father actually tells us that He wants us to run to Him in those times!

Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we can happily and confidently go to the Father when we need help. It is from Him that we receive mercy and find grace in our time of need.

In the same way your parents never stopped loving you, when they had to clean up after you, God will never stop being willing to help you. That is what makes unconditional love so special. It sees us as we should be, not as we always are.

Activity: Ask your parents to tell you a funny story of how they once messed up.

Prayer: God, I really want to do the right things, but sometimes I mess up. Help me to never forget you are here for me.
