Pray for Him - 5 Days of Prayer for the Salvation of Friends and FamilySample
Do you know who you serve?
I am almost sure that the majority's answer to this question will be yes, I do know who I serve, I serve Jesus.
Today's passage reminds us of the importance of recognizing who we serve in our lives. Although many of us claim to serve Jesus, sometimes our actions do not reflect this claim.
I really like a television show in which the owners of large companies disguise to work with their employees without them knowing who they really are. Some excel in service, while others do a poor job. In the end, some are rewarded, and others are shamed. Perhaps those who did not give their best would have worked harder if they knew who was by their side.
Knowing and understanding who we do things for radically transforms the way we do them and our effort to accomplish them. Why do we pray so little? Perhaps because we are not aware of the immense privilege it is to talk to GOD. Why don't we pray every day for the lost? Maybe because we don't understand how much God loves the lost.
So, let me ask you again: Do you know who you serve? I serve "My Lord, my Christ, my God, my King"...
Today pray for your “Andrew Plan list” in the following way: "God... Today I put in your hands “this person” who is my friend/my brother. I do not ask for the crops that God has given me in the world. I pray for him."
