Regain Your Trust in GodSample
Turn back to God.
You have heard the saying, It's easy to trust God when things are going well, but not when things are hard. However, the opposite is often true. When all is going well people tend to forget about God! It is when the tough times come that people suddenly realize only God can help them.
The amazing truth is that God so loved you that He gave His one and only Son to save your life for all Eternity (John 3:16). God desires to have a personal relationship with you, to lead you, to protect you, to guide you every moment of the day.
The first lie Satan told Eve in the garden implicated God's good intent towards her and Adam. It caused her to believe that they would be better off taking matters regarding their future into their own hands (Genesis 3:4). That led to them being put out of Eden (Genesis 3:23-24).
Perhaps you find yourself in a place where you have fallen for the lies of the enemy and it has left you out in the cold. You might – like Adam and Eve – feel ashamed and hesitant about whether God will receive you back.
Do not hide any longer. No longer be hesitant, afraid, ashamed, or dismayed. Decide to turn to the Lord again today. Put your trust back in Him. He is Faithful and True, He never changes. He has Good Thoughts about you, and He wants to bless you for a special work in His Kingdom (Jeremiah 29:11-14).
Will you not pray, right now, about everything that may have separated you from the Lord? Tell Him of all the loneliness and hardship. Ask Him to help you turn your life back to trusting and following Him wholeheartedly.
