Grace of God: 5-Day Devotional PlanSample

When we get ourselves out of the way and allow God to take over, that’s when we experience the power of Jesus. It’s not that the events we face aren’t difficult or without struggle, but there comes a point when the outcomes are beyond our ability to control. Instead of trying to become the “god” of our own life, turning things over to the Only true God is a far better way to live.
Living in the unresolved is uncomfortable and unnerving, but that is where faith comes in. Despite what we feel, fear, and try to force, God is the only One who is truly in control. When we surrender to God’s plans, purposes, and priorities, we can believe He is truly working all things out for our good.
Faith and trust, however, is a process. We don’t move from being faithless to faith-full in an instant. Transitioning from a lack of faith to a state of brimming with belief doesn’t happen overnight. It is a lesson we learn daily as we surrender to the divine hand of God and trust His outcomes. The same God who has secured our hope in the future is the same God who gives us help in the present. Discovering the daily dose of God’s grace is part of the faith journey.
God takes full responsibility for the life that is fully surrendered to Him. Like many today on the journey of faith, learn to trust him just a little more today.
