The Supernatural Miracles of Communion: The Anointing on Your Life!

DAY 7 OF 7

Day 7: Divine Transformation and Renewal

Today, we focus on the theme of divine transformation and renewal that believers experience through communion with Christ.

Communion represents our participation in the New Covenant, inaugurated by Jesus’ sacrifice. It brings about spiritual renewal and transformation in our lives. Romans 12:2 exhorts us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

1 Samuel 10:6 says, “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you mightily, and you shall prophesy with them and be changed into another man.” That’s divine transformation.

So let’s review.

1. Divine Restoration
Remember, when the anointing came upon Saul, the first thing that happened was that what was lost had been found. The donkeys that you went looking for, you don’t have to look for them anymore. They have already been found—for you. And everything you need is found in God’s love, kingdom, the Holy Spirit, and the blood of Jesus.

2. Divine Relationships
You’ll meet three men going up to God.

3. Divine Progress
We’re going up. We’re going further together.

4. Divine Provision
You will receive the bread from their hands.

5. Divine Victory
You will be worshipping, singing, and praising. All because you already have the victory.

6. Divine Authority
You’re going to prophesy with these prophets. In other words, you will speak to dead things—and they will come to life. You will speak to things that need moving—and they will move. You will speak to things that need to come—and they will come.

7. Divine Transformation
You’re going to be changed—into another man.

Then it happened. It’s easy to skip over those words, but I won’t. Then it happened. When you take the body and the blood of Jesus, get ready because then it’s going to happen. And what’s going to happen? Everything God said would happen—will happen.

You’re going to meet these people—then it happened. They’re going to give you this bread—then it happened. You’re going to find whatever was lost—then it happened. As the great hymn declares, there is power, power, wonder-working power, in the blood of Jesus—in the blood of the Lamb. And we are heirs. You are an heir to the inheritance established upon an unbreakable covenant, sealed in Jesus’ blood.

The transformational power of communion is rooted in the promise of regeneration and spiritual renewal through the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5-6 emphasizes, “He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” Communion symbolizes our participation in this ongoing renewal process.

Everything you need—God’s life, God’s blood—carries His life. We’re drinking His favor, mercy, and deliverance from fear, anxiety, and stress. We’re drinking His healing into our lives. God’s power to heal you is in His life, and His life flows through His blood.

Scripture reveals the profound truth that through the work of the Holy Spirit, believers get transformed into the likeness of Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18 declares, “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” It aligns us with God’s transformative work in our lives.

The story of Saul’s conversion on the road to Damascus exemplifies the transformative power of encountering Christ. Acts 9 recounts how Saul, a persecutor of Christians, was dramatically transformed into Paul, a passionate apostle of Jesus Christ, through a divine encounter. This narrative underscores the reality that communion with Christ leads to profound transformation and a new identity in Him.

Furthermore, communion signifies our participation in Christ’s death and resurrection. It symbolizes the old self as crucified with Christ and our new self being raised to new life in Him (Romans 6:4-6). Believers are empowered through communion to walk in the newness of life and experience continual soul transformation by the Spirit.

The promise of spiritual renewal and transformation echoes in Ezekiel 36:26-27, where God declares, “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” Communion symbolizes our reception of this new heart and Spirit, enabling us to live transformed lives.

In conclusion, communion is a sacred ordinance that signifies our union with Christ—and our participation in the transformative work of the Holy Spirit. Through communion, we are continually renewed and transformed into the image of Christ, empowered to live according to God’s will and purposes.

Let us approach communion with faith and expectancy, believing that God is actively working in us to bring about spiritual renewal and transformation. As we partake of the bread and cup, may we experience the reality of divine transformation in our hearts, minds, and lives—becoming vessels of His glory and grace to the world around us!
