When Paul says that he will show us “the most excellent way,” he is referring to love. Paul spends all of 1 Corinthians 13 talking about the importance of love. There is an immediate connection to you in this. Love is the most excellent way and always takes priority over any position you may take or argument you want to win. Our society seems to be conditioned to take pride in harsh words spoken in judgment and scrutiny, when in reality, the way of Jesus means, in everything with everyone, speaking with love and acceptance. That is the most excellent way.
This week, ask God to remind you that, no matter right you think you may be, love is the most excellent way.
