Sometimes, the changes in our lives can make it feel like we’re left in the wilderness. We’re lost, we’re confused, we’re unsure what to do or where to go next. It’s full of uncertainty, discomfort, and even fear. Thank God we don’t have to navigate what can feel like a wilderness of change on our own! As Scripture reminds us, God is at work doing something new. God’s paving the way forward and providing what we need to move through that change. Because of that, even when changes in our lives leave us feeling like we’re lost in the wild, we can trust that God is always working, always providing, and always with us. We can trust that God is making way for us in the wilderness of change.

As you walk through difficult changes, try to look for God working in your life. Make a list of things to be grateful for or ways you see God showing up for you in those changes. Keep the list handy so you can add to it and go back to it when you need the reminder that you’re not in it alone.
