New always brings change. Even if it’s for the better, if something is new, that means something has changed. If you get a new Nintendo Switch, you'll no longer be using an old one. If you finish one grade at school, you start a new one. If you move to a new house, you leave the old one behind. The list could go on! Well, the same is true when you put your faith in Jesus. The old you changes, and the new you is born. Is it always easy to leave the old behind? Of course not! The habits, the relationships, the thoughts, the behaviors—it all takes time to change. But if you let God work in your life, you’ll begin to see those changes happen. You can begin to live the way God called you to live—to love God and love others!
Today, let's practice thankfulness and celebrate that Jesus changes our hearts and allows us to show His love to others!
