God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)Sample

Life & Teachings of Jesus - Day 1
Matthew doesn’t tell us much about the magi who visited baby Jesus and his parents, but there are two things we know for sure. First, they were from somewhere outside Israel. Second, the Greek word magi refers to a specific kind of scientist who studied the world around them. That means foreigners studied God’s prophecies of a coming Savior and they recognized the signs of Jesus’s arrival. So why didn’t the Jews recognize their new King?
And what about us? Scripture tells us that Jesus will come back, but many of us aren’t even looking for him or telling others about him. Let’s take on this challenge together: read God’s Word, and then tell someone this week how they can experience the love of God.
