7 Days in His PresenceSample
Under His Care
Sometimes when you wake up in the morning, your mind is already brimming with anxiety. Your thoughts are already racing, and you can’t seem to quiet the noise inside. What will you wear? What do you need to organize? Will you make it to your appointment on time? Each question fills you with doubt, and you struggle to face the day with confidence and peace.
Life is so full and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed about getting it all done. No matter how convinced you are that your worries are valid, Jesus doesn’t want you to feel like that. He doesn’t want you to walk through life full of worry and stress. His desire is not for you to feel distraught, powerless, and consumed with negativity. Instead, He offers you peace and stability for your racing thoughts. As you recognize His Work in your life, your worry transforms into gratitude.
Recognizing God’s Faithfulness can provide you with strength. As you realize how He has already sustained you, you’ll grow in the belief that He will sustain you for all your days. The more you lean on that Truth, the more natural it will become. Each worry that creeps into your mind can be submitted to your Ever-Loving, fully capable Creator who longs to give you Peace that surpasses your own understanding.
Take a moment today to recognize all that God has done in your life. Are there blessings you’ve overlooked or taken for granted? Remember that every good thing in your life comes from the Father. He is the reason for the breath in your lungs, the way the light streams through your window, and the food on your table. His blessing in your life goes beyond you getting the things you want. It’s deeper, more holistic, and more wonderful than you might realize. Thank Him for His Provision and rest in the fact that He will never leave you wanting.
If He has provided for you before, He will do it again. He is always aware of you. He knows what you need and is more than capable of giving it to you. Your needs are not overwhelming or too much for Him. Rest in His ability to care for you and let your worried thoughts be quieted by His Peace.
