What a profound revelation we've received; these chapters give us insight into living with a heavenly perspective! Our minds no longer wander aimlessly; they can now rest on a reality unlike anything in this world, a perspective of seeing God Himself. Being raised with Christ opens a new way to view and live in the world: fixing everything on Him, the unsearchable treasure that captures heaven's focus. What a privilege to delight Him by directing our attention away from the world and onto Him—it's our great reward. You are the pearl for which He purchased the entire field; now hidden in Christ, we discover even greater treasures. These scriptures emphasize that putting on the new self establishes a true knowledge that surpasses worldly understanding because it bears the image of the One who created it. Soon, it will become impossible to want anything other than Him, and your love-sickness for your Bridegroom will cause you to live as He commanded, just like Him. Stay near to Him, beloved, and His perfection will radiate through you, precious pearl.

Prayer: Precious Abba, thank you that the physical death of your son brought life to my mortal body. That His sacrifice made me whole. Jesus, I look to You; when all else fades away, You will remain. May the fire in Your eyes burn away every desire to the lusts of this world. May my wandering mind find peace inside the hidden places of Your care. Jesus, you are my shelter, my covering, and my rock. Thank you for choosing me; I trust you. Amen.
