Jesus, the Great High Priest of the better.

When we receive the gospel there has to be an understanding that it was someone’s prayer that paved a way for our eyes to be open; the beautiful testimony of a praying grandmother or the faithful love from a father. But, what happens when we don’t have those figures in our life?

Have you ever considered Jesus’ prayer for your life? That His role of a High Priest brings your name into the throne room. Sitting next to the Father, in the midst of the chaos of elders casting their crowns, thunder and lightning, rainbows and creatures, the High Priest forever leans over to the Father on the throne and whispers your name, that today is the day of salvation. This beautiful revelation shows the intimate nature, the forethought of your belonging. The byproduct of Jesus being the priest of a better covenant and promises is that your name is known in heaven. And that better promise is that you can believe for your family’s salvation, the widow, the orphan, the sick, the lonely, and the imprisoned. The High Priest forever, ever presenting a better option because of His prayers.

Prayer: Jesus, I ask to hear what you are praying to the Father in heaven right now. I yield my heart in agreement for what You are asking on the earth. Thank you, Jesus, that Your prayers offer a better promise – one of Good News of great joy for all people. Amen.
