HaggaiSample

The Lord knew that if the people just focused on their own lives and “paneled houses,” their lives would revolve around themselves. Instead, the Lord wanted divine Presence to be the center of their lives. Although work was required, what the Lord was looking for was who the people were becoming now that they were back in the Land.
To bring this into our contemporary context: we commit to the church community, foster a personal relationship with the Lord, and practice rhythms, because we are aware of who we are becoming in the process.
What if the modern “timber” to build the house of God in our days is people - you and I? We all have a significant part to play.
