Sacred Whispers to Your Womb: Cultivating a Heavenly Bond Before Birth With Your Baby-to-BeSample
Day 7: A Precious Gift
Scripture of the Day: See, children are a gift from the Lord. The children born to us are our special reward. (Psalm 127:3 NLV)
Devotional Thought: Psalm 127:3 beautifully reminds us that children are a precious gift from the Lord, a special reward bestowed upon us by our loving Creator. As you reflect on this truth, consider the immense value and joy that your baby brings into your life, even before they are born. This verse calls you to recognize your child as a divine blessing entrusted to you by God. As you prepare to welcome this new life, embrace the responsibility and privilege of nurturing your child in faith, love, wisdom, and creativity. Let today be a celebration of the gift God has given you and a time to speak life, blessings, and Godly affirmations over your baby, ensuring that their journey is rooted in the knowledge of God’s love and purpose for them.
Breathing Exercise for Meditation and Deep Reflection:
- Sit comfortably in a peaceful environment, close your eyes, and focus on your breath.
- Inhale deeply, filling your heart with gratitude for the gift of your child. Feel God’s love, peace, and blessings surround you and your baby.
- Exhale slowly, releasing any fears or doubts about your journey into parenthood, resting in the knowledge that your baby is a precious reward from God.
- With each breath, repeat the phrase, "My child is a gift from the Lord." Allow this truth to fill your heart with joy and gratitude.
Creative Prompt and Activity of the Day: Create a "List of Godly Affirmations" to speak over your baby's life. Take time today to journal these affirmations, which will serve as a powerful tool to declare life, truth, and blessings over your child, prophetically shaping their future with God's promises.
Materials Needed:
- A journal or notebook
- A pen or pencil
- A quiet, reflective space where you can write
Instructions:
- Reflect on the Scripture: Begin by reflecting on Psalm 127:3 and the truth that your child is a gift from the Lord. Consider the qualities, blessings, and truths you want to declare over your baby’s life. What do you want your child to know about their identity in Christ? What promises of God do you want them to carry throughout their life?
- Start Writing Affirmations: In your journal, write down a list of Godly affirmations that you will speak over your baby. These could include statements like, "You are fearfully and wonderfully made," "God has a purpose and plan for your life," "God deeply loves you," or "You will walk in God’s peace and wisdom." Focus on affirmations that resonate with the truth of God’s Word and your desires for your child’s spiritual journey.
- Pray Over Each Affirmation: As you write each affirmation, take a moment to pray over it, asking God to embed these truths deep into your baby’s heart and life. Declare these affirmations with faith, believing they will shape your child’s future in powerful ways.
- Keep or Share Your List: After journaling, keep this list of affirmations in a place where you can easily access it. Consider reading these affirmations aloud regularly, declaring them over your baby’s life even before they are born. You can also share these affirmations with loved ones who will support your child’s spiritual growth.
Moment of Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious gift of this child, a very special reward from You. As I write and declare these affirmations, I ask that You fill my baby’s life with Your truth, love, and blessings. May these words shape their identity and future, grounding them in the knowledge of Your purpose and love. Let these affirmations be a source of strength and guidance throughout their life. In Jesus' name--- Amen.
Reflections and Notes:
- Reflect on the process of writing these affirmations. How did declaring God’s promises over your baby’s life make you feel? What truths stood out to you as particularly meaningful?
- Consider journaling about how you plan to incorporate these affirmations into your daily life in one of the journaling sections of your "Creativity From Conception To Cradle: 40 Weeks Of Creating, Crafting, Breathing, Journaling, and Praying Through Pregnancy" journal, ensuring that they become a constant source of blessing and encouragement for both you and your child.
Journaling a list of Godly affirmations is a powerful way to speak life and truth over your baby, grounding them in God's promises even before they are born. These affirmations will serve as a foundation for your child’s spiritual journey, helping them grow in the knowledge of God’s love, purpose, and blessings throughout their life.
