Take a BowSample

Have you ever tried a product you thought would completely change your life? Maybe it was a new pair of shoes, a skin serum, fancy headphones, or a phone you were convinced you couldn’t live without. Now, be honest: When you finally got it, how much did it actually change your life? Sure, you might’ve enjoyed it, but your life probably stayed pretty much the same even with its arrival.
When people choose to follow Jesus, they often imagine their lives will change completely. And in some ways, that’s true! But we’re still humans, which means we’ll still make mistakes, face hard seasons, and struggle. What changes when we follow Jesus is that we don’t have to do it alone. It’s not up to us to get through it all alone. Instead, we can trust in our faith in God and be confident in the power of Jesus at work in our lives.
This week, take a moment to reflect on an area of your life that’s changed for the better since following Jesus. Then, think about one area of your life you’d like to see changed and bring it to Him in prayer.
