Learning to Say NoSample

Count the Cost of Your Commitments
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Luke 14:28 (ESV).
Jesus teaches us to assess our resources before making commitments. Counting the cost helps prevent overextension and aligns our commitments with our capacity.
Are there commitments you have made without counting the cost? How can you make wiser decisions in the future?
Prayer: Father God, please grant me wisdom to count the cost before making commitments. Help me assess whether I can follow through and say no when necessary to avoid overextending myself. In Jesus name, Amen.
