Look Up, Girl!Sample

Tiny, Mighty Hands
Women have little hands, compared to men anyway. But they are still fashioned to accomplish great things. They are designed to fold in prayer with humble requests and praise. They are covered in flesh that can feel, wipe away tears, cook a meal, write a letter. They carry with them unique fingerprints of swirling identity no one can replicate. They grow old and wrinkled with time, yet tell a story of service and strength. They can clap to music, lift a child, build beautiful things—whatever God chooses.
And with these instruments of blessing, we applaud our Father.
If we only knew how truly equipped we are in Christ to handle life’s challenges, we might go about living in an entirely different way. The impossible would then be achievable, the unbearable would be manageable; the endless would have an outcome.
When we think of God, we know that He is capable of anything; that His Power is Limitless, His Knowledge Infinite, His Mercy Retroactive. He loves in a way that only He can—without the promise of being loved in return. How often we forget that the same Divine Force that makes our God so qualified to reign is the very Power at work deep within us!
In Jesus, we are well able to do whatever is assigned to us on Heaven’s Holy Schedule. Pray that you remain in the center of God’s Will and that you stay faithful to serve Him. The rest is in God’s All-Proficient Hands.
The same Hands that hold you right now.
Question
In what way can you use your hands to accomplish what the Lord has Called you to?
Prayer
Dear Lord, I know that You have a Purpose for everything—even me. Give me that sense of Purpose, a vision of something good that can come from my willingness to serve You. Show me what I can do to be a part of Your Intentions. Use my hands. Amen.
