Dear Heavenly Father,

I am so grateful that I can come to You at any time. Your word says, "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most."

I am so grateful for Your mercy, help, and kindness. Lord, I need it now. I do not want to be in debt any longer. I'm asking that You would help me find my way out.

But first, I want to repent of any time I have not followed Your Word—any time I have chosen to worry instead of trust You!

You have proven to me over and over again to be faithful, and I choose now to magnify You above all else. I consciously take my trust out of other things—bills, debt, upcoming expenses, inflation, status—and put my trust back where it belongs, in You.

You never fail. You never leave me or forsake me. You are for me and not against me. Because of this, I can put my full trust in You.

I choose now to seek You and Your kingdom first and not let the pressure of being in the world affect my decisions.

I'm asking for Your grace and mercy as I learn a new way of thinking. Help me to renew my mind in this area. I ask that when I read what your Word says about money, it will come alive to me in a new and significant way. Change me on the inside and let my actions be a reflection of that change.

I love you, Lord.
