Philippians Pt. 2Sample
Welcome to Day 3! Yesterday, we reflected on the humility of Christ, who chose to let go of His divine status for the sake of others. We learned that true humility is about seeing ourselves as God sees us and serving others in love.
Today, Paul challenges us to “work out your salvation” (Philippians 2:12) and grow in holiness. This is not about earning salvation through works but about responding to God’s grace with action. Paul calls the Philippians to stop procrastinating, to grow up spiritually, and to strive for sainthood with urgency. He also reminds them to do this without grumbling or arguing, knowing that God is the one who ultimately strengthens and sustains us.
As we reflect today, let us ask ourselves how we can actively respond to God’s grace and take steps toward becoming the saints He calls us to be.
Thank you for taking the time to reflect on Philippians with us. As you spend time in prayer today, consider this question:
What would it look like if I replaced every complaint I made today with a prayer of gratitude or surrender to God’s grace?
May the Holy Spirit guide your heart and transform your words into life-giving actions. We’ll see you tomorrow as we continue our study!
