Journey Through the Book of JohnSample
My Kingdom Is Not of This World
As Jesus faces arrest and trial, He asserts that His kingdom is not of this world, emphasizing His divine authority and purpose. This chapter teaches us the power of standing firm in our convictions, even when the world opposes us. Jesus’ kingship transcends worldly power and authority, inviting us into a greater purpose. This world is not our home; as believers, we are called to a higher way of living.
Consider how you can align your life more closely with Christ’s kingdom principles. We are called to live as citizens of His kingdom, advancing His purposes on earth. This perspective empowers us to rise above challenges and walk in faith. Jesus boldly declares that His purpose is to bring God’s Kingdom to earth. We are to bear witness to and advance His Kingdom across the earth.
How can you actively align your life with Christ’s kingdom principles? Declare, “I am a citizen of Heaven!” Choose to focus on things that matter in the light of eternity. Trust in His strength to carry you through, knowing that He has already paved the way for your victory. With Him on your side, you are equipped to handle anything the enemy throws at you. May I remind you that your weapons are mighty and that victory is your inheritance!
