What He Tells You

At the wedding in Cana, when the wine ran out, Jesus stepped in and transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary. This miracle not only reveals His divine power but also His willingness to respond to human needs and joys. In this story, we see the relational aspect of who Jesus was on earth. He had friends, was invited to a wedding, and desired to be a part of the lives of those around Him. This characteristic has not changed. Jesus wants to be a part of our lives, and even more so, He wants us to be a part of His. We can come to the Lord with anything, and He promises to show up for us.

When Mary tells the servants, “Do whatever He tells you,” she points us to a powerful truth: obedience opens the door to the miraculous. When we follow Jesus’ guidance, even when it seems ordinary, we position ourselves to witness His extraordinary power. Jesus chose that day to involve the servants in His first recorded miracle. Jesus could have performed this miracle on his own, yet He made the decision to involve people. The truth is, Jesus is still doing this today. He wants to include us in the Kingdom of God and the miraculous every single day.

Are you walking in enthusiastic obedience to what the Lord says? Identify one area in your life where you sense the Holy Spirit prompting you to act. What has He told you to do? Write it down and commit to obeying. Today, make it a point to step out in faith, believing that God will manifest His glory in your life as you obey. Pray for boldness to act and expect divine breakthroughs. Declare, “I am a vessel for His miracles!” Watch as He turns the ordinary into the extraordinary, transforming your life and the lives of those around you. Trust that His abundant provision is available to you in every area of your life!
