HOPE: gives assurance of the truth that is in Jesus

“For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.”

1 Thessalonians 1:9-10

• In the Bible, we see how many people have been living off the hope that is in Jesus. The woman who had a bleeding problem heard of Jesus and His healing power and risked her life in hopes of being healed. She believed that Jesus would heal her of this never-ending bleeding. She touched Him and that was enough to heal her.
• Our hope lies only in the truth that God sent His one and only Son to deliver us from our transgressions and give us eternal life. What a beautiful truth that through Jesus, we don’t have to die the way we deserve. This time of year, remember His sacrifice that He did, thinking of YOU. He died and rose again, defeating death, because of you. Rejoice in this truth and remember that He is our only hope and the only reason we celebrate this time of year. Let’s celebrate Him!
