Christianity in a NutshellSample

What is sin? It’s deeper than the human concept of a crime. Christians believe it is the great equalizer of humanity, an inner conflict between our aspirations and our actions, a biased perception of right and wrong, and an underlying desire to be in control and build our worlds centered around us. Zooming out from the individual, we witness how the collective weight of sin in every human heart compounds into a vast network of suffering and injustice in our world.
Sin forms barriers between us and God. It leaves us longing for connection yet feeling hopelessly distant. A core belief of the Christian faith is in God's relentless pursuit of His creation, the belief that the bridge between us and God has been built, offering a path to wholeness and healing.
Reflect:
Have you ever thought or heard about the concept of “sin?” Have you ever felt a tension between what you want to do and what you actually end up doing?
Do you find yourself pursuing self-improvement practices in your life? Do you ever feel burdened by the desire to “be better?”
What do you think about the belief that God has built a bridge for us to be whole, healed, and unburdened by sin?
