Church & StudentsSample

Have you ever felt like you totally belonged somewhere? Maybe it was in a family moment, a friendship group, or at work. This kind of belonging isn't even close to the intimacy and security that Jesus is describing here. He’s talking about being one with God, which reframes our identity, reorders our purposes and refines our hearts.
If we see ourselves this way it changes everything. We are not simply believers or people who go to church. We are Christ’s ambassadors, we are co-heirs in his Kingdom, trusted members of his royal court. In this passage, Jesus is inviting us deeper into unity with God and with his mission.
Jesus sends us, as his disciples into the world to be different and to stand out. The point of his sending us into the world is that others will know who has sent us. In other words, it’s all about Jesus and people discovering him.
Questions: Do you know that you belong to God as one of his children? Do you feel part of his mission?
Prayer: Father God, thank you that you sent Jesus to die for us so that we might be sanctified and brought into your family.

About this Plan

We are in the grip of a slow awakening in the student world as we continue to hear story after story of students coming to know Jesus. This is a story that hasn’t just begun now, it's been unfolding across generations, prayers of those who have sown in tears that God would move powerfully in this nation and the next generation; we are standing on the answered prayers of those faithful intercessors.
