God Created and God OrderedSample

DAY 4
God Creating and Arranging Environments to Meet with Us
“In the cool of the evening breeze, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden…” – Genesis 3:8
Genesis tells us that God walked in the garden. This is something significant because it suggests that it was normal for Adam and Eve to experience God’s presence there. However, sin disrupted that communion.
Through Jesus’ work, God sought to plant that garden once again—this time, in the heart of man.
Throughout history, we see how God continually attempts to draw near to His people to restore the delight He had with them from eternity.
In Hosea 11, we read a passage where God expresses His deep love for His people. Despite their stubbornness and rebellion, He insists on demonstrating His love.
This truth remains unchanged even today.
God still says to us: “When (insert your name) was young, I loved them as my own child…”
The call that God made from Adam’s time until today remains the same—He desires for us to be close to Him.
John 15:4 reminds us that if we are separated from Him, we will not bear fruit; we must remain in Him, and He in us.
We cannot pretend to have an intimate relationship with God because our fruit will reveal how close or distant we truly are from Him.
The call is to allow God to draw us back with His cords of love. We must see every circumstance we face as part of His design and order, meant to restore our relationship with Him.
“How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I let you go? How can I destroy you like Admah and Zeboiim? My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows! No, I will not unleash my fierce anger. I will not completely destroy Ephraim. For I am God and not a mere mortal. I am the Holy One living among you, and I will not come to destroy.” – Hosea 11:8-9
