Stop Saying You Are “Bad With Money”Sample

Day 2: The Four Core Skills
When Jesus taught about building a tower, He emphasized the importance of planning and counting the cost.
This principle applies perfectly to our financial lives.
Just as building a tower requires specific skills, managing money involves four core abilities:
- Earning: Using our God-given talents to provide value and generate income
- Spending Less: Making wise choices about how we use our resources
- Saving: Setting aside portions for future needs
- Investing: Growing what we have for long-term provision
As we mentioned yesterday, each of these skills can be learned and improved upon.
Just as the builder in Jesus's parable needed to develop various construction skills, we have the opportunity to develop these financial skills.
The beautiful thing is that God doesn't expect instant mastery. He values faithfulness and diligence in the learning process.
And remember, even Jesus grew in wisdom (Luke 2:52).
If Jesus himself went through a growth process, we can certainly embrace our own journey of learning and development.
So today, identify which of these four areas you feel weakest in. Ask God for wisdom and guidance as you begin to develop that specific skill.
