Today, we will continue studying the behaviours that make you be perceived as a complainer in the presence of God.

4. Wondering why God has not yet answered: If you have ever found yourself wondering why God has not answered your prayer, don’t let it become the song you are singing to God. Sometimes you may cry in the presence of God but you need to know you are complaining. There is no complaint bureau in heaven and if you are sure that you have asked in the place of prayer according to His Word, start thanking Him that He has already done it.

Believers complain when they are not sure God has heard their prayers. Once you are sure that you have come to God according to the laid down principles in the Bible, you can be sure He has heard your prayers. If you will achieve success in prayer, don't relate with God based on your feelings or based on your circumstances. The way you can profitably relate with God is through His Word. Once you have prayed according to His will, He has heard and answered and the divine process for your answer is set in motion. As you thank God, your answer will manifest in due time.

5. Praying generalized prayer: Bartimæus’ prayer in Mark 10:47 was a generalized prayer. He shouted saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” When Jesus came to him, He asked him to be specific: “What do you want Me to do for you?” In the same way, what EXACTLY are you asking for from the Lord?

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from complaining and vagueness in the place of prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen!
